Time to Play 2025: A Night of Fun & Philanthropy at Carousel Gardens

Connecting Adults with Nonprofits to Strengthen Our Community

NEW ORLEANS, LA – April 9, 2025 – Time with Ty invites adults to play with purpose at the 2025 Time to Play Non-Profit Night, an exciting philanthropic event designed to help individuals discover new volunteer opportunities while having fun! This all-adults evening will take place on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, from 6-9 PM at Carousel Gardens in New Orleans City Park.

The event showcases over 20 nonprofit organizations, allowing attendees to learn about impactful community initiatives, find ways to give back, and enjoy the amusement park in a relaxed, engaging atmosphere. Among this year’s featured nonprofits are Toolbank New Orleans and The Butterfly Effect Trauma Response & Treatment Foundation, with many more to be announced.

"Volunteering strengthens our communities, but many people don’t know where to start," says event founder Ty Salvant. "Time to Play provides a unique, stress-free way for adults to connect with organizations, learn about their missions, and explore how they can contribute—while also having fun!"
