Demario Davis Joins Home Retailer Ashley to Donate 100% Replacement of Beds at New Orleans-Based Covenant House in Honor of His 100th Consecutive Start
Yesterday, October 15, 2024, New Orleans Saints Linebacker Demario Davis and his wife Tamela, joined the largest furniture retailer in North America, Ashley, to replace every bed at Covenant House, a homeless shelter in New Orleans serving about 700 youth ages 16-22 annually. This partnership is in celebration of Demario’s 100th consecutive start, which happened earlier this season against the Dallas Cowboys. A team of local volunteers, alongside Demario and Tamela, came out to help load and assemble the new beds.
"New Orleans means so much to us and our family," said Demario on WWLTV. "To be able to give back and partner with Ashley to deliver 100 beds here at the Covenant House, we’re so grateful. The work that they are doing here is remarkable. It truly is God's work."
