About Us
Most people know The Salvation Army for our red kettles at Christmas time. However, we are so much more than that.
The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian church. Our mission is to meet human needs without discrimination by Doing The Most Good.
The Salvation Army Greater New Orleans Area Command has been serving the GNO area continuously for over 130 years. This is due to the generosity of the community providing leadership, volunteerism, and donations. Contact us to learn more about how you and/or your organization can create a legacy of love that will have a direct impact on those in our community that are struggling to get back on their feet.Images
