    Under the supervision of the Director of the Office of Supplier Diversity, the Quality Assurance Specialist will oversee the performance of office staff to ensure that all activities meet internal standards and regulatory requirements. This role is pivotal in maintaining the integrity of operations and fostering continuous improvement within the department. 1. Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures for the Office of Supplier Diversity (OSD) to ensure consistent operational standards and regulatory compliance. 2. Implement and maintain quality management systems (QMS) to monitor and improve OSD operational efficiency and ensure compliance with relevant standards in contract compliance and the SLDBE certification process. 3. Conduct regular audits to evaluate compliance with performance metrics and ensure adherence to established standards. 4. Monitor, analyze, and report on department productivity and efficiency, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend action plans to achieve established goals. 5. Facilitate continuous improvement activities and implement best practices within the OSD. 6. Collaborate with management to establish quality key performance indicators (KPIs) and evaluate the performance of compliance officers and other staff. 7. Address and resolve issues related to policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations. 8. Assist OSD staff during outreach events, site visits, meetings, and other activities as needed. 9. Support the development and dissemination of materials related to the quality assurance program and the OSD's initiatives. 10. Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
