    The Rum House is a family-owned & operated casual dining restaurant serving a one-of-a-kind Caribbean-inspired menu highlighted by our award-winning tacos served with tropical boat drinks in a lively funky environment. On the cusp of celebrating our 15-year anniversary, the Rum House is looking to add new valuable assets to our team!
    We are looking for hard-working individuals who are passionate about providing a warm and welcoming experience to our guests! 
    Applicants should be humble, friendly, customer-focused and team-oriented. Ideal candidates have some hosting or retail experience, or have a willingness to learn, and are somewhat knowledgeable about the restaurant industry.

Qualified applicants must be able to work in a high-volume, fast paced setting. Must be able to work nights and weekends. Must be able to work 20-35 hours a week.

General Responsibilities:

* Greeting Guests, Seating Guests, Quoting wait times, Clearing Tables, Facility Sweeps, Bathroom Checks, Maintaining a Friendly demeanor at all Times and Aiding Servers with additional Tasks.

Requirements:

• Ability to provide top-notch customer service in a fast-paced environment.

• A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with all restaurant staff.

• Does high-quality work while unsupervised.

• Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.

• Able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of plates and glasses.

• Willing to follow instructions and ask questions for clarification if needed.

Pay: $15 - $18/hr

Hours: 20-35hrs./wk

Availability Required: Monday-Sunday/ Nights and Weekends
