Sustaining Our Urban Landscape (SOUL) is kicking off the fall planting season in the Lower 9th Ward! Plant with us as we work together to bring more shade, stormwater mitigation, lower air temperatures, and cleaner air by planting 400 more trees in the neighborhood. When: October 14th and October 21st | 9:00am-1:00pm (Lower 9th Ward) November 4th and November 18th | 9:00am-1:00pm (Holy Cross) Register at www.soulnola.org/volunteer-sign-up/ and be sure to pass along to friends, family, and neighbors who may be interested. Special thanks to the Department of Parks and Parkways for sponsoring 400 trees in the Lower 9th Ward this season. Thanks to our partners at L9WHA, L9NA, and L9 CSED for their continued support.
