Building on increased interest by consumers seeking companies with good sustainability practices and recent growth in the green industries, the New Orleans Chamber of Commerce is launching a new Green Committee to support existing businesses in the New Orleans area to:

• Develop and formalize their sustainability strategies,
• Increase business-to-business relationships and connect to green consumers,
• Raise the profile of green commerce in New Orleans; and,
• Assist New Orleans businesses to build local political support for the green industries while elevating our reputation on the regional and national stage.
